How does Community Court work?

Community Court is a service powered by the eBay Community. eBay members make decisions about whether feedback is fair.

Who is on the jury?

The jury are all experienced members of eBay who are capable of judging the fairness of the feedback. We have set a minimum criteria to join the jury.

How long does it take?

Voting on a case takes only a few minutes and you can volunteer to vote on as many cases as u want. If you are in an appeal then you wont be allowed to vote on that case and you will usually have the decision in a couple of weeks.

Community Court - keeping feedback fair

eBay's Community Court lets you appeal against any unjust feedback you've received.

  1. Start appeal

Write a statement about why you think the negative feedback you've received is unfair.

  2. Collect views

The person who left you feedback is asked to justify their comments.

  3. Jury voting

A group of 21 eBay members vote on whether your feedback should be removed or not.
